Certainty before departure.
The single biggest worry for any patient travelling for treatment is the unknown: What exactly will be done? How long will it take? What will it really cost? Our pre-arrival treatment plan answers all of these in writing before you make any travel commitment.
Once you share your reports, a multidisciplinary team at SAL — the lead consultant, anaesthetist and, where relevant, a second specialist — reviews your case. Within 48 hours you receive a document that sets out the recommended procedure, the alternatives considered, the expected length of hospital stay, total days in Ahmedabad, pre-operative tests required, and an all-inclusive package cost.
You also receive a day-by-day itinerary: when to arrive, when admission happens, the surgery date, discharge, follow-up review, and when it is safe to fly home. Your SPOC walks you through every line of the plan on a call.

What we need from youRecent blood reports (within 3 months), imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, echo or angiography as applicable), current medication list, known allergies, and a summary of past surgeries or chronic conditions.
Original scans in DICOM format give the most accurate opinion. If you only have printed reports or phone photos, send those — we will tell you if anything else is essential.
Frequently asked questions
The estimate covers everything in the standard pathway for your procedure. Unless your clinical condition on arrival is materially different from your reports — for example, an additional blockage found on angiography — the price stands. Any change is discussed with you before proceeding.
For most planned procedures, very accurate. Occasionally fresh imaging at SAL refines the plan. Our team will tell you upfront if your case is one where the final decision must wait for in-person tests.
Only with your informed consent. If a better option emerges after examination, your consultant explains it, revises the plan in writing, and you decide.
We welcome it. Share our plan with your local doctor or another hospital. Good medicine stands up to scrutiny.
