Post-Hospitalisation Care

Discharge is not goodbye. Recovery support in Ahmedabad, a complete record for your home doctor, and your SAL team a video call away.

Recovery is part of the treatment.

The days and weeks after surgery matter as much as the operation itself. International patients face a particular challenge: they cannot simply return to the hospital for a quick check. So SAL builds post-hospitalisation care into every international treatment plan — from the hours after discharge to months after you return home.

In Ahmedabad, your treatment plan includes a defined recovery period before you fly, with physiotherapy, wound care and consultant review at the hospital or, where appropriate, at your hotel. Your consultant certifies fitness to fly only when it is genuinely safe.

For your return home, you receive a complete medical record — operation notes, discharge summary, imaging, lab reports, medication list and follow-up schedule — prepared for your local doctor. And your SAL consultant remains available by tele-consultation for follow-up reviews, so continuity of care does not end at the airport.
