Health Awareness Seminar for SBI Pensioners was arranged at SAL Hospital premises on 16th May,2009 the audience was addressed on various topics like healthy heart, Nephro Diseases, Ortho Care, Diabetics Care by Dr. Anil Jain (Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgeon), Dr. Jagdeep Shah ( Nephrologist), Dr. Swetal Bhavsar ( Orthopedic Surgeon ) Dr. Kunal Jhaveri ( MD Physician).
Dental – Zygoma Implant – workshop:
SAL Hospital arranged the first live Dental Implant surgery in Gujarat and West Zone. The Surgery was performed by Dr. Gunaselan and Dr. Pravin from Chennai and several dentists of Ahmedabad had attended this surgical workshop.
Cardiac Workshop:
“National Surgical workshop on Heart valve repair & Heart failure” was organized on 16th & 17th January, 2009 at SAL Hospital. The conference chairmen were Dr. Anil Jain & Dr. Srinivas Mallya. The International Faculty included Dr. Pravin Shah, Hoag heart Valve Center, California USA. Dr. Aidan Raney, Hoag heart Valve Center, California, USA and Dr. John Jeffery Tyner, Scripps Clinic, California USA. The audience of more than 75 doctors was addressed on various topics as – Live Case from OT on Mitral Valve Repair, Surgical Ventricular Restoration etc…
